Turkey, Dominican Republic, Korea complete Women's Tokyo 2020 lineup
Lausanne, Switzerland, January 12, 2020 - Turkey defeated Germany, Korea outplayed Thailand and the Dominican Republic dominated Puerto Rico to become the last teams to make the women's volleyball tournament of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, grabbing the continental tickets at the Europe, Asia and North & Central America and Caribbean continental qualifiers Sunday evening.

Argentina, Kenya Tokyo-bound with first of week's continental Olympic tickets
Lausanne, Switzerland, January 9, 2020 - Argentina and Kenya picked up the South America and Africa tickets to the women's volleyball tournament of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, while in Europe Poland and Germany joined the Netherlands in the top four and in Asia the semifinal matchups were confirmed after Thursday's action in Olympic qualification tournaments across the world.

Dutch through to semis, Germans close in, at Europe Tokyo 2020 qualifiers

semifinal spots while Germany closed in on another and Turkey stayed
alive in Europe; Korea and Kazakhstan secured their their semifinals

Dominique Baeyens back in charge of Belgian Red Dragons
Brussels, Belgium, November 6, 2019 - After a summer in charge of the Belgian national men’s team, Brecht Van Kerckhove has stepped down as head coach. Former head coach and Belgian coaching legend Dominique Baeyens will take over for the European continental qualification tournament for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in Berlin in January.

Giovanni Caprara to lead Dutch women’s team
Utrecht, Netherlands, November 5, 2019 - Giovanni Caprara is the new head coach of the Dutch women’s volleyball team. The 56-year-old Italian was presented on Monday afternoon at the Nevobo headquarters in Utrecht. Caprara and his team will start their preparations for the Olympic qualification tournament in Apeldoorn in January on December 27. The Netherlands will have to win the tournament in Apeldoorn to qualify for the Tokyo Olympic Games.

Sloetjes hopes Netherlands get vibe back for Olympic qualifiers
Hamamatsu, Japan, September 17, 2019 – Superstar opposite Lonneke Sloetjes is currently competing with her national team – the Netherlands – in the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Cup and she is hoping that the tournament will help them prepare for the Continental Olympic Qualification Tournament in January 2020.
